Located in front of Martinhal Beach, the resort is set on plant-filled and modernly decorated grounds, and was specially created for families, though people of all ages will enjoy their time there.
The resort is built like a village, and consists of gardens and bay houses. It is located in the historical town of Sagres. Sagres was known to the Romans as “The End of the World”, because it is the furthest point southwest in Europe.
This five star resort has five pools, three restaurants, a sports club, tennis courts, and a boutique spa. The resort also has amazing views of the ocean and direct access to the beach.
Pousada de Lisboa

Located not only in the heart of Portugal, but in the heart of the heart of Portugal, Pousada de Lisboa gives you both location and luxury.
The hotel is in Praça do Comécio (the Commerce Square) in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Not only that, the hotel has stood in the capital for hundreds of years, so if you go there, you’ll be staying in a pretty historic building.
Some amenities the hotel includes is a restaurant and bar, a sauna, and a fitness center.
I would recommend Pousada de Lisboa if you plan to sightsee a lot in Lisbon and if you want to get around by foot to most of the city’s landmarks.
Savoy Palace

Savoy Palace is a hotel located in Madeira Island, an island in the middle of the Atlantic about 500 miles away from the mainland of Portugal.
The hotel includes a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge, and a garden. There are amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean from most points in the hotel. It is a short walk from the Funchal Old Town, which is the center of history for the city.
There are multiple pools, including an infinity pool, and even game-rooms and a teahouse.
If you want to explore the island, Savoy Palace is great because of its central location, but if you want to just stay in one place, this hotel is good too, because of the many amenities in the hotel.
Sao Rafael Atlantico

Sao Rafael Atlantico is a 5-star resort located in Albufeira, in Southern Portugal.
It features two indoor pools, 3 outdoor pools, private beach access, a spa, a buffet dining room, and a restaurant. All rooms have a view of either the gardens, the pool, or the ocean.
The beaches near Sao Rafael Atlantico are sandy and shrouded by cliffs.
I would recommend Sao Rafael Atlantico to everyone, and I honestly think it’s one of the best hotels in Portugal because there are so many different things you can do.
