We’re going to do another Q and A! But, it’s not going to be about London this time… it’ll be about South America! South America, to me is sometimes really underrated compared to Europe and Asia, even though it is such an amazing continent. So today, I’m going to do a Q and A of South America.
Q: What country in South America should I visit?
A: It depends what you want on your vacation, really. I actually have a really useful post on The Best Countries In South America that shows five of my favorite South American countries and all their specific things that make them unique, so that you can figure out which country you like the best.

Q: Where is South America?
A: You probably know this, but it’s in here anyway. South America, obviously, is south of North America, and its tip reaches almost all the way to Antarctica. It borders both the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific.

Q: What is South America known for/ why should I go there?
A: South America is known for a lot, but it’s especially known for its history, culture, and diverse scenery that can change from blue waves to steep mountains in minutes. As for why you should go there? Well, that does go with my answer about what it’s known for, but as for other reasons you should visit, all the countries are so different but also similar, so if you visit multiple countries on your trip, you definitely won’t get bored.

Q: How much does it cost to visit South America?
A: Obviously it depends on every country, but the cheapest are Colombia, Bolivia, Argentina, and Paraguay. The generally more expensive places are Chile, Peru, Brazil, and Uruguay, but South America isn’t usually that much of an expensive destination.

Q: What is the best time of year to visit South America?
A: First, i’ll just say that in the Southern Hemisphere, Summer is from December to March, and Autumn is from April to June, and so on. I would recommend visiting in Autumn, which is known as the bet time to visit the cities. I like this season more because it’s less crowded, less warm, and also slightly less expensive than summer. But, if you want to visit Patagonia, summer is usually the best time to do that.
